Personal Injury
A personal injury can occur in a traffic accident, a faulty product or repair, a mistake during medical treatment, or because

you slipped and fell on a wet floor or pavement. Personal injuries can be physical or psychological but, to be considered actionable, they must occur due to the negligence or unreasonably unsafe actions of an employer, manufacturer, doctor, landlord, or some other person or organization who owes you a duty of ordinary care.
Examples of personal injury causes of action include professional malpractice, wrongful birth, wrongful death, liable, slander, trespass, and nuisance.
When you have been injured by someone else's negligence:
Ø Talk to one of our attorneys before making any statements,
written or verbal, to insurance company adjusters or
representatives;
Ø Write down everything you can remember about how the injury occurred, including the names, addresses, and
phone numbers of potential witnesses, police officers, insurance company representatives;
Ø Protect any evidence you may need to prove your injury, such as your wrecked car, photographs of an accident or
injury scene, clothing you were wearing, damaged personal belongings, and so forth.
